Chelsea’s Technical Director Michael Emenalo Already Assessing Costa’s Replacement, Deal To Be Sealed In January

The attack of Chelsea have been goal-shy this season and that has led the Blues to lining up several players that can come and salvage their season that has been marred by serial defeats.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Premier League defending Champions have drawn a list of attacker that can be lured to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer market.

Chelsea’s technical director has been assessing three strikers as per the report. Jamie Vardy, Saido Berahino and Alex Texeira. But we think Chelsea’s problem may just be beyond a Berahino or Vardy with the realistic and viable choice being Texeira.

The aforementioned Brazilian has revealed that he wants a Chelsea move and it is believed that £30 million will be good enough to lure the Brazilian. Although, Mourinho has said he will be inactive in the January transfer market, he is left with no choice than to look for a better scorer than Costa.

The report further stated that Mourinho is keen on a proven and out-and-out attacker in the stead of Gonzalo Higuain and Emmanuel Adebayor. The latter has been on a football hiatus for a while and even when he played under Mourinho at Real Madrid, his spell was unsuccessful.
