Almost Done: Chelsea To Complete Massive Deal For Powerful 6ft1 Attacker To Replace Loan Bound Remy
Chelsea interim coach Guus Hiddink has been saddled with the responsibility of stabilizing the team and probably lead them to the end of the season in at least top-four on the League table.
If report according to the Metro is anything to go by, Chelsea are close to the signing of Switzerland international and FC Basel striker Breel Embolo.
The 18-year-old striker transferred from Old Boys to youth system of Basel in 2010. He ascended the various grades of the Swiss club until he made his professional debut for the club in 2014.
Chelsea have been rooting for strikers that are more potent and strong in front of goal and Embolo has caught the eyes of Hiddink. It is believed that Remy might be heading out of Stamford Bridge on a loan move and Hiddink is keen on replacing him with the Youngster.
However, the Blues are not left alone in the chase of the player. He is also on the radar of Arsenal, Juventus, Barcelona and Liverpool.
He has scored five goals in 15 appearances for the Swizz club this term and might turn out a good addition for Chelsea. He is valued at £20 million.
